Pirkkala track
The Pirkkala track runs from Sori Square in Tampere to Suuppa in Pirkkala. The length of the tramway section is approximately 9.3 kilometres of which 4.7 kilometres are located on the Tampere side and 4.6 kilometres on the Pirkkala side. A total of 11 pairs of stops have been planned for the route – 6 in Tampere and 5 in Pirkkala.
In phase 1 (2024–2028), we will build the tramway section from Sori Square to Partola. The construction work is divided into three blocks: Hatanpää, Härmälä and Partola. The length of this section is approximately 5.7 kilometres, with 7 pairs of stops. The aim is to start tram services to Partola in August 2028.
In phase 2 (2028-2032), the line will be constructed from Partola to Suuppa.
Tramway from Hatanpää to Partola
The tramway from Tampere city centre towards Pirkkala follows Hatanpään valtatie and Nuolialantie to Kenkätie in Partola.
Three tram stops will be located along Hatanpään valtatie: Viinikanlahti, Hatanpää, and Arboretum. Hatanpään valtatie also serves bus traffic, and the bus stops will be built as lay-by stops.

Nuolialantie will also have three tram stops: Rantaperkiö, Härmälä, and Härmälänranta. All stops will have signal-controlled pedestrian crossings. Bus stops for diversion routes have also been planned near the tram stops along Nuolialantie.
The Partola tram stop will be located on the square west of the Kenkätie roundabout. A stop area for feeder bus services will be built along Kenkätie, south of Lestipolku.
